Lance Swanner

Lance Swanner

A graduate of the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Lance received his undergraduate degree in Political Science.  He obtained his Juris Doctor from Jones School of Law.

Lance focuses his practice in the areas of automobile accidents, truck accidents, wrongful death, nursing home and immigration litigation, representing clients in numerous jurisdictions across the Midwest, South and Eastern United States. His successful representation of individuals in an extensive number of cases has resulted in recovering millions of dollars on behalf of his clients.

Lance is a member of The National Trial Lawyers and has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers for the state of Alabama.  Lance was selected by Super Lawyers’ magazine as a 2011 Rising Star.  Super Lawyers’ publishes the Rising Star List to recognize the state’s up-and-coming attorneys who are 40 years old or younger or who have been in practice ten years or less.

He is admitted to the Houston County Bar Association and to the Alabama Bar Association where he is a member of the Young Lawyers section.  He has also been admitted to the Supreme Court of AL in 2001, USDC Northern District in 2006 and USDC South District in 2008.

Terry G. Key

Terry Key

While Terry Key has been practicing law for more than 20 years, his career path to the legal profession began in broadcasting.  Key graduated from Troy University in 1983 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.  He served an internship at WSFA-TV in Montgomery, Alabama before joining WDHN-TV in Dothan, Alabama as News Director and sports anchor,  where he served in those positions until 1985.  He later joined WTVY-TV in Dothan and worked there until 1991 while attending Jones School of Law at Faulkner University in Montgomery.

Terry was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in April, 1991 and began his legal career later that year at the law firm of Cherry & Givens, now known as The Cochran Firm.  He concentrated primarily on workers compensation and automobile accident claims.  Key left The Cochran Firm in 2009 to join the Dothan, Alabama office of Jacoby & Meyers, where he continues to concentrate on personal injury, workers compensation claims and domestic relations litigation.

Terry is a member of the Houston and Geneva County Bar Associations as well as the Alabama State Bar Association.  He was also admitted to the United States District Court Middle District of Alabama in 1991.

Carl received his Bachelor of Science degree, Summa Cum Laude, from Troy State University.  Following his graduation, he attended law school at the University of Alabama School of Law, where he was a Hugo Black Scholar and a member of the  Alabama Law Review.

Carl has been practicing law in Alabama since 1990.  Since graduating from law school, he has focused primarily on representing plaintiffs regarding personal injury, automobile accidents, truck accidents, wrongful death, and workers’ compensation.

Jordan is originally from Dothan, Alabama. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Cum Laude, from Troy University. She later attended Faulkner Law School where she was a member of the Faulkner Law Review, the Faulkner Law Board of Advocates, and Justice of the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity. Upon graduation from law school, Jordan returned to Dothan to practice law with the Jacoby and Meyers Law Firm. She is a member of the Alabama State Bar, Dothan Area Young Professionals, the American Bar Association, the American Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Division, and the Houston County Bar Association.
